Martin is one of the UK’s leading private oil painting tutors as well as an occasional visiting lecturer and experienced demonstrator. In 2007 he founded The Norfolk Painting School (now Martin Kinnear Studio), has demonstrated live at the NEC, Patchings, and been a regular speaker on the visual arts for private and public institutions. He has guest lectured or presented with MA Fine Art in Harrogate (University of Leeds), The University of Salford and St Mary’s College Durham. Since 2016 he has specialised in providing professional development and mentoring for painters, particularly in oil.
